Glue Dots

My Stamp Shack buddy Kerry posted a link to this video on making homemade glue dots. I seem to go thru glue dots VERY quickly and never seem to have the "right" size. So I made these. They work very well! The only complaint is they are not flat or paper thin. Next time I make some, I'm going to try to smush them BEFORE they dry & see if they come out flatter that way. Give them a try!

For Angie's Halloween Free For All swap. Once again, Changito RULES!!! Once again, DO NOT stamp on black pattern paper if you want to keep your sanity!!! Plus, if you notice, there are TWO pieces to the goodie bag. That top piece was a KILLER!!!

For Chris' Mummy Swap. I saw this stamp in a set at Michael's and HAD to get it for this swap. I think this kitty is just too cute!!

For Suzanne's Fall Colors swap. The background paper is a metallic embossed paper I've had FOREVER and the leaves are heat embossed w/copper powder.

For Chris' Dracula swap. Gotta love even a Dracula dress Changito. For the record, NEVER stamp on black patterned paper. It's nearly impossible to cut it out correctly.

August Stamp Camp III

This card was VERY hard to put together. But, I love how it turned out! There was stuff stamped on the inside but I forgot to take a pic. We also did a 4th card but I still haven't put mine together. There was discussion over ribbon placement & I never landed anywhere with it.

I really dig this card. I did change a bit from the sample. The khaki circles and stars were supposed to be white. I didn't like the contrast of the white against the khaki so I changed it. LOL I wish I had stamped MORE stars on the twill tape!

Last week's stamp camp! Such a manly card. Since I don't usually send cards to man-friends, one of my girlies will get it. It's got flowery bud things on it, that's girly, right?? We used the white gel pen to color on the embossed bird.

I have so many things that I have taken pics of and want to get on here but, for some reason or another, I haven't managed it. So, instead of worrying about what "needs" to go on here, I'm just gonna stick some out here!

These are pages for Patti's Christmas Circle Journal. When I got her's, I thought "oh goodie, no theme. this will be easy". Well, not so much. I knew I wanted to color block & I was pretty sure which images I wanted to use. I first stamped them all on white copy paper, cut them out leaving a bit of border around each. I messed around placing them, cutting them down farther or marking the ones that needed to be bigger. Then, I filled in the spaces with images that fit the area and theme. Then, I tried to determine what colors would work best. I should have had more red & green but, I need to color some images so that required they be on lighter colors. After alot of work, it turned out fairly cute. On to the next journal!!!

SU Party II

Card number 2 from Debi's SU Party. Now, y'all know how I feel about "In Colors" so I'm not overjoyed w/the card colors but I really did dig the "medallion" we made w/the scallop punch. COOL!! I also really liked how she had us emboss the outside & the INSIDE portion of the card. Neat ideas Sue!!!

Debi had a post surgery (one day post op!) Stampin' Up party. While I'm not a fan of butterflies, I did like this card. Butterfly stamps, punch & die!!

Pink Santa

For Sherri's Santa Swap. I can't seem to get away from pink & green for Christmas. Distressed the pink, green & white (circle) cardstock to match the BG stripe.

Some of it's already in & sitting on my computer. I just haven't taken the time to post it. I promise, I'll get to it in the next day or so!!! Promise!!
