Ippity Challenge Card

I've been trying to challenge myself. First to do some CARDS. I find ATCs sooooo much easier and cards just seem to stymie me. Some days the cards work, some days the DON'T!!! I've been doing the Unity & Ippity Challenges over at SCS.

This card was from a few weeks ago. The challenge was to use something "faux". I was having a problem figuring out what I could fake. Well, I had just made my first Flower Soft purchase & decided to try the fake Flower Soft that my Shackies had shared. This idea worked MUCH BETTER in my head than reality! Mostly, I'm blaming the photo tho. There are fishies & plants BEHIND the vellum that show up better IRL.
Supplies: Cardstock -- My Minds Eye, Ink -- Stazon & SU, Markers -- SU (the fishies are colored under the vellum), Vellum -- from my stash

Friday Unity Friends with Flair

My second FWF. So loving all my Unity stamps. Today's sample was made with Insightful Meadows. I was STUNNED at how big these flowers were. And, as with most Unity stamps, as soon as I saw them, I knew what I wanted to do with them. Stamped with TH Distress Inks on watercolor paper. Love how this turned out.

Supplies: Cardstock -- Stampin Up, Watercolor paper -- Canson, Ink -- Milled Lavender & Scattered Straw

Head over to Laurel's Blog or back to the Unity site.
