Dahlia Fold

I saw this 100 places last week but never bothered to save it. Then, Vicki at the Shack posted a blog w/instructions. Too much fun. I need ALOT more practice (and skinnier fingers wouldn't hurt!) but it is a sensational look. Both these cards were for friends w/birthdays on Saturday. Both were very impressed w/the technique

.
BTW, the thing I love most about this technique is that you can use some less than groovy looking paper & it still turns out cool. The brown card is some butt-ugly SU DSP (outlaw) that I bought on a whim (liked one of the striped papers) and pretty much HATED!!! Love the way it looks all folded up!!

Uh, duh.

Saw this test on the Amuse blog. I found some of the questions really hard. Guess I'm not so smart. I had to have help from my kids on the prime numbers.

Ode to Joy!

Over at the Stamp Shack, Sherri issued a challenge to make 10 Chrsitmas Cards a month so when the holidays roll around, we won't be overwhelmed. I tried it last year & petered out after February. Hopefully, I'll do better this year but it did take me until 2/1 to get my January card done.

I believe this card came from a yahoo group that I am on. Unfortunatly, I didn't save the girls name along w/the card so now I can't give her credit. I dig go thru all the posts before and after the date I saved it & I still can not find her. So, on the off chance that you are the creator of this card & you happen to read my blog, Tell me who you are so I can credit you w/this idea!
