Button Tree

Button, button, who's got the button. Well, Angie/Shuggy decided that we ALL had too many buttons and hosted a button ATC swap. I have TONS of buttons but only 2 packs of what I think are "cute" buttons. These are old Chatterbox Buttons so I used them with old Chatterbox Paper (I have TONS of that stuff--still love it but don't get much opportunity to use it!). I stole the idea from a random blogger (don't remember who) but didn't have a tree stamp. So, I thought how hard can it be to DRAW a tree. Pretty hard. Hope everyone can stand my bad drawing. LOL

New Years Card

Hmmm, maybe I should have STARTED with this card?? I'm not as in love w/this card design as the rest of the group is. The first one someone sent was really cute but, we've never made anything that came as close to cute as that one did. Anyway, we made this New Years card. The blingy paper sure does go with the theme....

St Patrick's Day

I never really send St. Pat's cards but, when we made this one, that's the only thing I could think of. The center is a pearl sticker colored w/a gold pen & a tiny black pearl sticker in the middle.

Valentine's Pinwheel?

Another variation on yesterday's card. The girls decided this was a good idea for a Valentine's card for their hubbies. I'm not sure I agree. The black background kinda kills the VD theme for me. I will probably end up using it for hubby as I'm sure I'll be too lazy to make something else. LOL

Calendar with Trees

A few years ago, a different SU Demo did a calendar using a retired tree set (can't remember the name off the top of my head). Marge's hubby got these nifty little calendars & wanted to make a similar card. As I had just gotten Branch Out or Christmas, I threw together this prototype. Not prefect but I thought it turned out pretty cute.

Christmas Ornament

I made this for the kids' teachers and my friend/stylist. It didn't turn out quite as cute as I wanted it to. Next year, I need glittery snow. I put glitter in these but it all sunk to the bottom.

Christmas Card 2009

While I like having the extra cards from doing Sherri's 5 card a month challenge, I really do like making my cards in November (or, lets be real, December!) production line style. Plus, I like having the one quintessential Christmas card for the year. I really didn't like this card when I put it together. In fact, I considered dumping the whole concept. But, as it sat on my desk, I decided I DID like it. Now, it's really grown on my & I think I'm going to make a few more (Scott's co-workers need cards). Merry Christmas!!

Zoo ATCs

I hosted a zoo swap and this was Becca entry. Everyone got the original 9 and then this one as a bonus. I guess I need to host a "kid" swap.
