Saturday SU Open House

Saturday morning, I want to Sue's New catty Open House. We got our catty's, a $5 gift certificate on a future order & made 3 projects. Was alot of fun!!!

Dang, I missed posting yesterday.

Yesterday was a fun day!! Went to a SU party with one of my work friends. Had a GREAT time (how can you have a bad time at a SU party??) and made 2 super cute cards. Finally bought the pocket silhouettes (hmm, weren't those on sale a few months ago? Why didn't I buy them then??) and the square punch. One of the cards used these stamps & I loved it Plus, my favorite C'mas card made at Sue's C'mas open house was made w/the square punch. I'm hoping the punch will be here in time for my 5 C'mas cards this month.

Yesterday afternoon ended my auctions. Sold ALL the Longaberger stuff (liners, pottery but no baskets, I can't give up a one of them!) but only one stamp set. Made $78!! Woohoo. More spending $$$ for Shack-a-paloosa!!!

SU Party cards

These are from the last SU party I went to (can you believe I have another in 2 weeks? I think I may actually have 2, one on Fri, one on Sat plus a Pampered Chef party this coming Fri. Gee, I'm popular, huh?) Anyway, I LOVE this demo & all the cards she has us do. Plus, this group is so much fun. Die Hard crafters of ANY sorts. They are into needle & wet felting, painting, scrapbooking and now rubber stamping.

Finally, a CARD

Ok, lets try this again. I tried to post this card & ended up deleting it. Then, since I don't have a scanner on this computer, I had to go back downstairs, use THAT computer to load the pic & then eventually come back up here & finish the post. Of course, I could have just done the post while I was on the downstairs computer, but that would be too easy. And, what then would I complain about??

I went to a SU Customer Appreciation gathering on Saturday. Got my new catty, FINALLY!! Made 2 cute projects. The penguin treat holder didn't hold up to the ride home (at the bottom of my bag where it was then left for 3 days!)

But I think this card turned out good. It wasn't as complicated as it first looked. You punch out the circles, cut out the flowers, line them up and add the center w/a brad. CUTE!

And, just an FYI, the guava double stitched ribbon is YUM!!!

SU Party Cards

I went to another SU party on Monday. I ordered Unfrogettable (finally!!) and Doodle That (I think, the tiny one!) plus the piercing template, the corner rounder (to do the scallop technique) the spiral punch & a set of designer paper. Plus, we made these really cool cards. Love cool SU parties (hate lame SU parties)

Went to (another) SU party yesterday

I went to my third SU party this year! I can't beleieve there is ANYTHING else I need but, managed to spend another $50. But, I already have all the SAB stamps sets. So my demo is going to trade me a SAB for one of her old, no longer using sets. Cool!! My boss has a party scheduled for March so I still have at least one more to go!

I liked these project more than the ones I did at the last party. I messed up the button on the bottom of the Flower card. The frog card has the frog pop-dotted and the "knees & elbows" are bent (thanks Marge) so he looks very jumpy. The b/g doesn't looke quite right now. Either I NEVER should have colored the dragonfly or I should color it all now. Will have to consider what else it needs.

I HATE when plans change!!

I was SOOO looking forward to going & stamping w/my Saturday Stampin Sisers this morn but, now, I can't. :( A few weeks ago, my uncle had a stroke. He's not been doing very good & not expected to make it much longer. My cousin & I were like sisters growing up. She would like me to come up to the hospital today. I can't say no but I'm really a little bummed I can't stamp. Oh well, dh is playing cards tonite & I'll stamp then (I HOPE!!!)

Last night was the SU party. I was a little disappointed at the projects. Nothing too exciting: 2 3x3 cards. Woohoo. Nothing "fancy" on either one. There was only one girl at the party who was a newbie & everyone else were "stamping fools". It would have been nice to have a something a little more challenging.

I ordered 3 punches & can't wait to get them! I've been coveting the word window for a long time but couldn't spend $14 on a punch when there were so many cute stamps I still wanted. Well, after getting 14 sets of stamps last month, I can take a stamp break. I have one more party to go to this month. I'm torn between: a) cardstock & stampin spots in Bold Brights (the only family I don't have) or b) the designer punch box. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

I ordered my first Bella's on Thursday. I can't wait. My boss ordered 3 along w/me. I hope they get here soon. I can't wait to play with them. I wanna be on the Bella Bandwagon!
