That's Amour!

Went to a SU party and made some cards!!  This is my least favorite but that's only 'cause I HATE how the ripped paper turned out.  I am NOT GOOD on random; I can't tear, I can't stamp random backgrounds (see the big, blank space under the heart?) and I can't do jaunty angles.

Pile O' Pizza Boxes

As promised (long, long ago!) here are the finished VD goodies. I hope the kids enjoy them (as Vicci planned to fill them w/candy, I'm sure they will LOVE them!!)

Of course, I won't know as I'm on a paid leave day. I did something REALLY STUPID yesterday and, sadly, I could lose my job because of it. The silver lining of it all, this may finally be the incident that teaches me to keep my temper in check!! I'm hoping for a written warning as I've never been in trouble before. Either way, it'll all work out for the best. I'm sure of that!

I'm the room princess!!

Fixed the technical problems (user error, duh!) and got my pics.

Here is the story. I work at an elementary school. My boss's daughter is a teacher of a challenged class. They do not have a room mother so my boss, crafty gal that she is, agreed to help out for the Valentine's party. I told her since she is the teacher's mom, that truely makes her the Room Mother. I asked what I was since I was helping her. She says I can be Room Princess. I wonder if it comes w/a crown??? (anybody remember that Patrick Swayze movie where he was in drag?? The one guy was excited 'cause he was the "drag princess". Sorry, my mind wanders. ALOT!!!)

Back to the craft (don't you wish you were one of those people who just looked at the picture & went to the next blog???) We originally made these pizza boxes at the New Catty Open house. They were fairly simple so Vicci bought all the stuff for them and pretty much I took the whole operation over. I ran out of adhesive so I'll post the finish project later today (I hope)

Happy Valentines Day

Ok, this looked MUCH better in my mind (which is odd since I'm told I have a "dirty" mind). Anyway, DD got VD socks at the $ Spot at Target. I saw these tags & said I must make a card with them. Well, I'm not 100% pleased with the results. So, since she got 2 pair of socks, I can try again.

I think I need to add something to this. The one person I showed this to didn't get the "heart" portion. I think I'm going to stamp a heart behind the words.

I managed to get some of my Valentine's done yesterday. I still have tons to do (and tons to mail since VD is only 2 days away!!!!) If I have time, I'll try to take the stuff to work today & I can work on cards on my break. I have a couple more I'll try to scan & upload later.
