I did a bad bad thing!!!

Oh, life is soooo not good right now. I was making my Sheep ATCs for Angie's swap. I wanted to use my nifty-neato label nesties. Well, I cut one out, to see how it would work. Then I went to cut out something else. Didn't realize the nestie was stuck to the bottom of my "C" plate and into the CB it went. The sandwich resisted going thru and so I tried harder. Then I realized something must be wrong. I pulled the sandwich out & my nestie fell in my lap :( I tried to run it thru to top to flatten it back down but it won't flatten. It still cuts but not very clean (although, this is the nestie that was "defective" before & wouldn't cut clean). I called Spellbinders & was told I can not buy one nestie, I have to buy the whole set. So, at some point, I'm going to order another label set. Then, I guess I'll give away my partial set. I'm bummed!!

If you have cows & horses, you need a FENCE??

This is for Sherri's fence swap. I LOVE THIS!!! THe fence is so cute & I think I did a pretty good job coloring (ok, the sky is not perfect but it's watercolor, it doesn't have to be, right???) Another piece of stash background paper!! Yea me (Ok, on Saturday, I went to Archivers & bought like $15 worth of pattern papers. Not so yea me. :( )

ATCs until the Cows come home?

Again, for an Angie swap. Love this little cow! Hate my hand writing but, whacha gonna do?? Old CM patterned paper. Felt good getting rid of something so old!! You can't tell in this really out of focus pic (looked pretty good when I took it, go figure) but the horns & the bell are covered with crystal effects.

Stamp Camp part IV

Fun card to make (and we got to keep the template to make them again!). I really like the dress with the belt on it! Really "makes" the card!! I'm going to use this for a graduation card for a friends 8th grader! I probably will add some stickles or rhinestones to the scallops to make it pop & make the "sparkle" sentiment make more sense. LOL

Stamp Camp part III

Sue apparently really loves this flower embossing folder. It's cute but I'd really like to have a stamp camp WITH OUT it sometime!! LOL This was a cool looking card tho. (Please ignore the poor job I did w/the border punch, I'm still not good w/these!!) I really liked the pink & purple together.

Stamp Camp part II

I LOVE this card! It's got so much going on, I doubt it can even be mailed but it's way cool!!! Die cut scallop oval (that we punched the holes in -- awesome effect!) Die cut flowers (I HAVE to get this die) die cut butterfly (yes, I HATE butterflys but this one is acceptable 'cause it's got BLING!) Plus, I'm SO IN LOVE with this stamp!!! We also stamped a b/g on the butterfly die cut. I really need to get my b/g stamps out & use them more!

More ATCs are done!

For Angie's horse ATC swap. This stamp is from High Hopes. Cutest stamps EVER but really, really slow shipping!! But, they sent me like 11 free stamps with my order. And, I got my order in time for the swap so, I won't complain. At least not too loudly! LOL

Stamp Camp for May

Stamping fun at Sue's again this month! She does such great projects. She claims they are all CASEd but, I don't care, they are very neat.

Here is the flowerpot card I've been seeing around EVERYWHERE! I was never overly impressed with them but, doing on myself does impress me! I think the flower pot is cute!!!

Happy Mother's Day

This was my Mother's Day card for Scott's Mom. It is a DIRECT CASE from this card by Cindi. I didn't have the vast variety of Prima's that Cindi did so I tried to make do with what I had. I also screwed up the sentiment & had to redo it on another piece of paper. I thought it looked ok at the time but, looking at this pic of it, not so much. But, as my MIL is nearly blind (but still drives, YIKES!!) it probably wasn't AT ALL noticeable to her!!

Ladybug, you're a real pain

While at 'palooza, I tried 17 different Ladybug ATCs. Nothing I did worked right. I bought this new stamp at the LSS in Ft Wayne but STILL couldn't make it work. This is what I finally came up with. Then, when I got home, I decided it needed black brads. Only, I don't have any black brads! I think the yellow & red brads actually worked better!

I scream for Ice Cream!!

This is for Christie's Ice Cream swap. Unfortunately, I had it in my head that it was supposed to be for Traci and sent it to her. DUH!!! Anyway, after signing up for the swap, I discovered I had NO ice cream stamps. I shopped around for some at 'palooza but didn't find anything that I really liked too much. While looking for something else, I found this Ice Cream Cone on a set of Changito stamps. I love the way this one came together. In case you can't tell, Changito can "swing".

Pick a sport (but not your nose?) swap

This is for Sherri's Pick a Sport Swap. I bought this Changito stamp maybe 2 years ago. I knew sometime, I'd need a baseball image. Now is the time! I used crystal effects on the bubble. Next time, I'll make sure to make the background color darker; CE seems to lighten the colors underneath.

It's Time

This is for Sarah's Tick Tock Time swap. I've had these Heidi Swapp stamps forever. I bought them originally intending to stamp them on acrylic & cut them w/my Nestabilites into circle clock shapes. I've never gotten around to doing that. But, when Sarah posted this swap, I knew it was time for these stamps to get inky!

Flip Flop ATCs

For Sherri's Flip Flop Swap (that's fun to say!) I found this awesome flip flop paper in IN when I was at Shack-a-Palooza. It has glossy "embossing" on some of the flip flops. I used my Nestabilities to cut out the transparancy & dry brushed paint over the edges. I had tried to cut out cardstock but it covered too much of the cute paper. I also added Stickles to the flowers on MY flip flops. I liked the way it turned out!

Stamp Camp part IV

I've been very lazy lately and haven't gotten this last pic loaded. That was because I didn't manage to get it finished at Stamp Camp. This was a FREAKING hard project & took a while for everyone to get it done. I got mine stamped but not colored. Now, I'm not thrilled w/the way I colored it. I never can just leave thier eyes alone!! Then, when I color them, they look goofy. Oh well.
