Finished Journal Page

Yes, they did finally get completed! All 16 of them. I ended up w/4 leftovers. I have no idea what to do with them??

I really did like the end result. The flowers were a pain. Stamping DIRECTLY on the page did cause some problems. I ruined a whole pre-colored page by not paying attention (and using KILLER adhesive that will NOT let you reposition. EVER!!) Oh, I did a matching ATC. I gotta find one & share that here too.

I LOVED Shack-a-palooza!! I can't wait for next year. Everyone who has the opportunity MUST go!!!

Shackapaloosa Circle Journal

I'm participating in the CJ for 'palooza. These are the elements of my pages. I'm hoping I'll have them together before we leave; doesn't look good.

April Stamp Camp

Another fun day at Sue's. I so love her Stamp Camps!! Here are today's projects:

The little box uses the matchbox die. Such a cute project. I like the "idea" of the Mother's Day card but not the color combo. A little too "red hat" for me (since I'm soooo young!)
I love this card. First, the glitter in the center of the flower (which you probably can't see in the pic) is just sooooo cool. Then, the whole concept of the "twist" to open it. And finally, LOVE that flower pot!!!
We did one other card but I can't share it here 'cause it's PERFECT for a friend who reads my blog. I may post it once I'm back from 'palooza next week. WOOHOO!!!!

A Tree Grows at the Shack

But I think I hate it. I wish I hadn't stuck the leaves & bow on there. Opinions?

My Riley ATCs

I'm hosting a swap over at the Shack for Riley/Sophie ATCs. This is my contribution. I don't think I'm quite finished as I have an uncontrollable urge to add "beep beep" to the front. We'll see.

New Punch

I was at Walmart last week buying a TON of stuff we needed around the house. I also bought all the adhesive refills they had for my "snail". While I was standing there, this punch said "it's about time you stop staring at me & buy me!!" So, not being one to argue w/a punch in the middle of a discount store, I tossed him in my cart. I have NO RECOLLECTION of putting him on the check out belt and truly thought he must have jumped out of my cart at some point during the rest of my shopping.

I get home & Scott is there to help me unload the stuff. HE finds the punch. Doesn't it just figure. LOL I've coveted this punch since before Christmas when I saw adorable wreaths, reindeer & believe it or not, snowflakes made w/this punch. Some of the Shackies were able to find it as a "clearance Christmas punch" after the holiday but not my Walmart. I don't care, I love it!!

Now to make something with it!!!

Shrooms Anyone?

I'm hosting a swap over at the Shack. I found the CUTEST Hero Arts stamps & knew I had to use them for this ATC. It took a few tries but I finally got the look I wanted. I wish more of the pattern paper showed 'cause it is really cute too. But, what are you gonna do?

Stamp Camp!

Sue always has marvelous stamp camps!! I love going! Here are the projects we did

I don't know which is my favorite! I will HAVE to buy the daisy 2 Sizzix/SU die. I MUST have it. I've seen some really cute things done with it. I will NOT be buying the pillow die. I love the whole bunny thing but I borrowed Sue's die. It does not work well in the cuttlebug. If you cut paper with it, the score lines end up cut. If you cut transparencies w/it, the score lines don't score. You can NOT use any sort of shim w/the die to make it work better. I made 20 of the pillow boxes for my friend Joan. I hope they work for her. I ended up using my scor-pal for the straight scores (and ruined my bone tool in the process) but the round scores??? Who knows?

I have stuff to share!

I went to Sue's stamp camp on Saturday! Oh my, her camps are SO MUCH FUN!!!! Anywho, 4 projects that are to die for are sitting on my desk. When my camera & I can get into the same space, I'll take some pics.

Suzi does Cards for a change!

For so long, I've done ATCs with only an occasional Christmas card. I had card block. I had convinced my self I couldn't do a card. I could only do ATCs 'cause they were smaller & didn't need as much "stuff". Yesterday I decided I was going to do a b'day card & was NOT GOING TO GET STUCK!!! I made 4 w/4 more waiting for today. I really like how they turned out. I need to understand that the same layout you use for an ATC can be used for a card.
Oh yeah, I'm IN LOVE w/SU ink & an aqua-pen!! I LOVE coloring w/them!

February's C'mas cards -- 2 days to spare!

Whew, just made it! I finished up my February cards today. Now, to plan March's so maybe they will be posted more timely!!

I need your opinions. I only "finished off" this one, the others are un-poked. Do you like the piercing or should I leave it off?? Should I only pierce the one corner & leave the bottom left un-adorned? I do plan to put a tiny bit of glitter on the snowman as the paper is glittery (not that you can tell from this pic.

January's 5 a month Christmas Card

Over at the Shack, Sherri challenged us to make 5 Christmas card per month. If we follow thru, my November, we should each have 50 cards so there might be a little less stress. I had these done before the end of January but needed to borrow a sentiment stamp for the bottom. I did that WEEKS ago but never got around to taking the pic. Finally, tonite, I took the pic. 6 cards down, 94ish to go?

Hmmm, maybe I should start on February's card???

Punch Storage!

While my dad was home this weekend, I had him put in the 3rd and final (?) curtain rod for my punches!! I LOVE this storage idea. So easy, so inexpensive. As I don't have much room here, I had to have the curtain rod cut off but I liked that 'cause then there was a double layer of rod below the punches. I had asked my dad to put the 3rd row .5" higher than the 2nd row. I think he wanted to make sure there was enough room! I think I can live with it!!!
